Sasuke’s susano arrows are enough to give kakashi with a kamui mangekyo sharingan a hard time I’m pretty sure chibaku tensei won’t fail that easily. Pre-WA Kakashi couldn't use kamui much this was mostly due to low experience and stamina/chakra it's not a problem with the functionality of the ability itself. Your best bet would be a fic where Kakashi is one of the main characters and he helps Sasuke kill Itachi or is already stronger than Itachi by the time he’s dead.
